Two Grezzas, a Rossi, and a Savinelli. The Grezzas and the Rossi are much better pipes than is the Savinelli. They have Ebonite stems and none of that filter nonsense that plagues the Savinelli. It's nice looking, but a PITA to smoke. I'm thinking of tossing it to make room in the pipe rack.

I like author shapes a lot. I have a Pete, a Luciano, and arguably a Kaywoodie Ruff-Tone. The 320 shape is appealing to me, big bowl, and sturdy shape, but the weight is a little heavy for the size pipe, to my taste. But they have a band of admirers.

I only have about 5 pipes now and one arriving in a week but the 320 shape is the one that appeals to me the most. I’ll def be buying one soon. I may go safe and try the Sav 320ks that are about $80-90 on the sites to start. Spent way too much on tobacco the past 2 months. But I know me and I won’t be able to wait much longer.

Good call. Also, be sure to check out the SP.eu site as they have good prices on Savs even with the exchange rate. And shipping is relatively cheap 7 euros if you don't meet the 100 euro threshold for free shipping. Also, Bolito has killer prices on unfinished Grezze models, but shipping is higher.

The 320 is a shape that i don't find particularly appealing to look at (though they're far from ugly, IMO), but so many folks swear by 'em, I feel compelled to try one.

I have one actual Savinelli 320 Punto Oro smooth and it's a fine flake burner. However, I have a similar chubby author shape made by Mark Tinsky, a 2 star 6 Walnut with some fancy wood accents. I like this pipe even better than the 320. More comfortable stem, and an even chunkier stummel with a larger chamber. A flake burning machine. I call it "super chunk." Both pipes were under $80 barely smoked on ebay.

I also just like it better aesthetically. The Sav 320 proper has always just looked like a big log of smooth dookie to me.

Nothing to fancy about this one. Just absolutely love this shape, and quite a fun smoke

I love the Savinelli 320 shape, and have several of them, including a beautiful Punto Oro. The problem for me is that they're just too heavy. 70g is my pipe weight limit, no matter what. But Savinelli came to my rescue with the 321. I just wish they would include that shape in more of their lines.
