Based on the recent discussions (and reoccurring)...
I'm not making any claims, but I have looked and do find the lack of evidence interesting.
You can search the web and find plenty of cases of cigarette, dip, chew, and cigar users who have gotten cancers pertaining to repeated contact with a specific body part (specifically cancer as opposed to say cardiac disease since tobacco is an easy culprit distinguishable from the many other prevalent causes of heart problems).
But there a very few nasal snuff cases, 1 snüs case (after 70 yrs use), and no pipe smoking cases which I personally have ever been able to find.
Of course the per capita use of those types of tobacco surely have a lot to do with it... But c'mon, where the actual cases? We live in the post modern information age where everything is documented and studied by someone. Surely im missing something or putting in the wrong search terms. Becasue logically... Of COURSE any tobacco use at all has the potential to be dangerous. Right?
