Really GREAT! Now don't go gettin' a big head, since . . .
ACTUALLY, You Folks I meet here daily and prob'ly each night (lots of men and women-not many of you) have been the kindest, most helpful, caring and funny, smart and giving people of any single group I've been a part of during my life (from extended family to churches, businesses and neighborhoods, from Parris Island to Yale and varied schools in between, from businesses that included FAO Schwarz to Lionel Kiddie City and retail companies in between. The only exceptions are the very small circles of immediate family and small handful of old friends. You folks are giving, kind, witty, smart, and sometimes kick a guy in the ass in a friendly and helpful way. And always with encouragement. I've been on the receiving end of many gifts from so many of you--primarily your time, thoughts, and hearts and sometimes even favorite or treasured smokes-pipe fodder or sticks. This forum amazes me. I want to come here and look forward to being with you, often as we share a bowl.
The thing that makes You'all really special is, to me, I've not run across a cull or dullard in the bunch--nor spiteful no-accounts. Not a single one! Each of the other groups included their share of those other sorts. Wow! Amazing (grace?) or amazingly graceful-You Rock!
And this "wanter" to be here with you is priceless. Nobody makes us show up online or share our time. Can't fake the "want to," way down deep-it's either there or not (oops--that was my spiel for marriage counseling when I wore the clergy frock and had to stand and deliver each week for decades !). It's true, though.
Happily puffing (kinda like dog rockets from Cuba!),
kindly
