Wonderful find, Ser Jacs are under appreciated, I have a bunch of Delectas that are smooth smokers, yours is a Beauty, fits the hand good also.

Ser Jacopo's are great pipes both in finish and smoking qualities. It's my personal opinion they're some of the best coming out of Italy. That grain is spectacular. Enjoy.

I have a Ser Jacopo blast Dublin with a square shank and stem. More than bent, the shank and stem form a sort of "s," sinuous was the description at smokingpipes.com. I really like the marque. Even though prices have gone up since I bought mine, they are still a good value.

Definitely has amazing grain! I'm not real familiar with Italian pipes, but see this shape made by many of the Italian makers. Does this shape have a name? Is it a hawkball? Nonetheless, it appears to be an awesome pipe that like others have already said must sit very comfortable in the hand. Congrats, and a local sale to boot. Awesome!
