The hat is from Rands, a custom maker in Montana. I have to have a few too many drinks to make my trout face.

Damm it, you look very elegant. Dear friend Douglas, that hat looks great on you. Here in my town, there are many stores where they sell that hat. I remember when the new boulevard project was made, for the commercial theme of the village. But it has become a Moroccan (zoco) souk. We have some army units that wear that hat, they are called Regulares.

Interestingly, Fuerzas Regulares Indigenas (Regulars) still remained in existence in two garrisons , 54th (Ceuta )and 52th ( Melilla) Light Infantry units ,largely recruited from inhabitants in the cities of Ceuta& Melilla for 4 year term of service
The whole idea is weird to my way of thinking. If Pipesmagazine was an actual club where people met every month then I could sort of see it, but I still wouldn't wear one! The idea of sitting on your computer tapping away whilst wearing a Tommy Cooper hat - Tommy Cooper - Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Cooper does not fill me with hope!

I don't wear any hat or cap indoors or in my car. And I don't want to be seen in public wearing a fez in my community.
So, a PM fez I wouldn't wear, but it'd make a nice souvenir.

I bought a Derbyshire cap in Yorkshire many years ago; when I wore it, people became amazingly deferential and respectful. Or they thought "uh-oh, a loony".
Ok. What we really need is a graphic presentation of a possible fez Kevin can consider. I mean it can be as simple as capital P and M. Something everyone can wear without offending 99% of the population.
An actual Fez from Fez, Moracco. I wouldn’t recommend the taller Shriner type at all. A Fez isn’t for everyone - but they do lighten the mood and if you can pull it off, well, it says more about the wearer than anything. And that’s a good thing.
