Just ordered this Rattrays Cherrywood style sitter.

I've not bought a pipe since before lockdown and thought I would treat myself.
Love the look of this one and very excited to get my hands on it! Its a Rattray's Dark Ale 110

My first Cherrywood style and I've been coveting one for a long time!

Yeah, I like the looks of that too. I have two Rattray's pipes and find them to be great smoking pipes. I don't know about yours, but both of mine take 9mm filters, and sometimes I use a Savinelli balsa wood filter but mostly I don't use any. Neither of mine have a filter adapter to use without the filter, but I haven't seen the need for one. Let us know how yours smokes and what you think overall about it.

I’ve eyed that pipe several times. I really like it. Was this part of the SP pipe sale? That sale got me too. Got a new Vauen on the way!

Bought in the UK, sadly not on sale I just a weak moment!! As far as I know lots of Rattrays pipes are only available in limited numbers as a previous one I liked hasn't been available for a long while.

It is drilled for a 9mm filter, I think all Rattray's are these days. I have the Dr Plumb charcoal and some Savinelli balsa filters so will experiment. Due to arrive on Monday so will probably get a chance to smoke on the weekend.
