Our featured guest on tonight's Pipes Magazine Radio Show is Jon David Cole. JD is the Owner/Tobacconist at The Country Squire in Jackson, MS, and the accompanying online store. We’ll have JD and Brian talking about their experiences and Jon David’s purchases at the Chicago pipe show. There is also news on the Country Squire’s bulk tobacco / custom blends program that was impacted by the closure of Sutliff Tobacco Co. In our opening Pipe Parts segment we will get caught up on a mailbag backlog with four great questions from listeners.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

Hey, Tobacco Jesus! Looks like I need to make a cross-country trip before you move. Can you drop the humidity down to about 40% and turn the AC up for me, so it is more like the Rockies? Congrats on the new opportunity!

Brian, you seem to get more mail than Santa Claus. Thanks for getting the back log taken care of. There were some very interesting questions.

I’m there with ya Jon David, my beard is mostly to cover up my double chin. The beard note is an added bonus. Good to hear the famous Squire blends will continue on. Hope the move to the new location goes as smooth as possible. When Jon David asked if a hat a shirt and a pipe was a Donald Duck situation I immediately pictured Donald Duck with a bottle of Pellegrino and a Satou pipe. Jon David, I hope to see you at the Vegas show again. God bless you and your family.

That’s why I love that pipe shows are annual, because one year you can focus on talking with old friends, another year you can focus on meeting and making new friends, another year you can focus on your collection, shopping for it and letting others see it.
