I figured the accent was either oak or ash. I like the way the ring radius perfectly goes through The shank and the bowl.
That's how I always did with Bruce, and now Jason. Exciting for everyone involved to see what evolves!

Yeah, it is smart to give the carver some room at the same time you tell what you want. That's a real work of art. I like the different textures and shaping and the striking stem work.
