He does good work but mostly human forms so I had no idea that he'd be willing to do it. But now that he's going to try, it'll go well with my cephalopod collection.

Generally, engraving services can be found at a mall. I once had a Zippo engraved with initials from a mall kiosk and it was much better than anticipated (fancy lettering I wasn't expecting, but appreciated in this circumstance).
That's a quick photo edit of something I may do.
Many of those only do lettering but I've found a shop that does laser engraved signs that told me they could put any image on something.
