One of my absolute favorite pleasures is sitting on the back patio in the evening, pouring a glass of something nice, lighting a bowl of whatever tobacco takes my fancy, and listening to a good story. Pure bliss!
Lately I'd been listening to a channel called "HorrorBabble" on youtube. The other day I purchased some mp3 downloads from them to listen to while driving back and forth to work. (I know I can listen for free on youtube but I enjoy listening to them, they took the time and effort to produce the stories, so the least I can do is support them.)
This morning's story on the way to work was a fair treat! So much so that I feel compelled to make this post. I'd say the story is kid and adult appropriate alike, exciting, and put a grin on my face. I won't say anything more except that whenever I go into the woods from now on I shall take a briar pipe...
