McGahey's Buckland Curlies used to be my favorite bulk equivalent for Three Nuns. Lovely stuff back when one could order by mail, but sadly you have to live in Britain to be able to get your hands on it these days (or visit his shop in Exeter). He won't ship to the US.

Savinelli Doblone D'Oro is not sold in bulk, but it's the closest thing to the VaPer Three Nuns I have ever tried. It usually sells for around $19.95 for a 100 grams, depending on where you buy it.
Second that. Watch City has it in stock for $16.80.

Man, I love Roll Cake, Dark Twist, and Club,

Ah yes, I forgot to add Club, could be because I’ve never had it but it’s one I’ll be trying soon. Out of those three, which one is your favorite? Do you find they age well? I have a tin of Roll Cake from 2010 that I plan on cracking in 2020, I’m looking forward to that. I feel like Mac B is really starting to get the praise that they deserve... Mixture Flake is amazing stuff! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try it!

Hawky, you're right, the Mixture Flake is great too.
The rolls age great, they mellow and unify - I have Dark Twist from the 70s and it's like smoking a stack of pancakes. Club is a little punchier, more kentucky (patented cavendish). With age, it mellows and seems to sweeten even more. I actually like it better fresh than real old, because I like the interplay of that super sweet virginia with the woody/pepper kentucky, and that sort of disappears after say, 15 years.

Awesome, thanks for your thoughts, Sas! I think I’ve always skipped over their Club Blend cause I thought it would be too lite for my tastes but now I’m thinking I better get a few tins for good measure. I’m really starting to explore more of their classic blends, I love the subtle sweetness they add to a lot of them. It’s a shame I’m just starting to appreciate MB as it was only a few years ago their prices were ridiculously cheap... don’t get me wrong, they are still a great value but it would have been ideal to stock up on some of their 100 gram tins when they were in the $7 to $8 range.

The rolls were always more though, I don't remember them under 12 bucks because they use whole-leaf wrappers I guess.
Club is smoky, spicy, sweet. Medium nicotine. Toasted marshmallow sorts of flavors. I love it. I like their virginia flake too, in the tiny tin, it's crazy good (the Va #1 I am less fond of - I think it's still 8 bucks lol)

I bought that Newminster 403 and it was a shocker! I get the Newminster Flake and it is a "go-to" for me anytime. But the blender of that 403 must have been blind drunk, with no friends, when he did that one!!!

Well, looky here! My old post came back from the dead! Thanks to everyone for the added suggestions. I do enjoy Dark Twist, haven't tried Club or Roll Twist. Will put those on the list. I do have some tins of Doblone D'Oro but haven't tried any yet. Will get on that. Thanks again!

I actually ordered some Doblone D'Oro. It had been on my list, but this thread made me throw it in with my Monday order. It arrived yesterday. I don't know about any comparisons to Three Nuns, but it's excellent. Terrific balance between the components and flavors.

I thought the Newminster Superior Round Slices were pleasant. I have some Three Nuns jarred, but it's been a while since I've had that, so I'm not sure how close the Newminster coins are to it.
