Im talking the tin note..
you can really smell the Latakia, but in total, the tin note is highly reminiscent of a horse stall...

Is it just me?

I mean, I like it, and Im gonna continue to smoke it but... am I wrong here?

I haven't smelled any blends that smell like horse manure, but a few that smell like stable sweepings. Some burley blends just have that twang but smoke with good, non-horsey flavor. I have an unopened tin of Plum Pudding, so thanks for the warning. I'll put on my riding clothes, as if I had any.

I don't smell that at all. I get peaty BBQ sauce from the PP tin. I think it smells great! But hey, we all have different schnozes, and the smell of Latakia seems to be a polarizing one.

I get a lot of barnyard smells from GH and Co/Sam Gawith unaged Virginias. I just picked up a fresh box of SJF and it smells, to me, like fresh alfalfa hay.

That smell is partially what initially attracted me to English blends, opening tins reminds me of my childhood on a farm, they smell like hay, barnyard, manure, BO, and woodsmoke. It's great.
