Probably my biggest regret selling this one... It was so special, in addition to being a monster smoker. Again in the beginning of my restoration journey someone said in a YouTube video that I should buy all pipe stems I lay my eyes on, so I did just that and both a few ebay stem lots and weeks went by never needing any of them... until one day a pipe lot arrived there was an extra pipe head without a stem, you cant imagine my surprise when the smallest stem I had fit perfectly on this otherwise regular to even large size pipe head! I fell in love with it on the spot and it became my go to pipe to smoke while I restore. One day I got an absurdly high offer for it and me needing cash in that moment had to say yes. I saw it again 2 weeks ago on ebay, but it went away before I could click the buy now button. Next time I will be faster!

Denicotea Golf
An very much disliked brand, by myself also, but this small pipe was incredible with any aromatic tobacco - always cool, smooth, flavourful and no tongue bite.
This pipe is from the time when I would smoke every single pipe I restored, I wonder how many incredible pipes I have missed, ever since I stopped smoking them all.

Peterson's Donegal Rocky 999 (1977)
I have to admit, that I might have a problem.... I am completely obsessed with bent rhodesians or bent bulldogs. Here is a fraction of my obsession - my 999 petes so far. This one has a special place in my heart - if you scroll down in the pipe repair thread you will see it with a giant whole on the bottom a toothpick sticking out of it...

Peterson's Christmas 2023 999
This one I got pretty recently as part of a trade and although I like the novelty of the copper mount, it being a modern and new pipe makes it my least interesting 999... at least for me

This is the only pipe from this high grade line that I have ever seen and it's absolutely beautiful!

This little guy has absolutely no right to rank so high on my interest scale, at a solid second place just behind the pipe that's coming next. I Jost love the extra craggy and deep blast

Peterson's Dingle 999 (1994)
A solid top 3 pipe right here! I can talk a lot about the Dingle , but I already have in multiple threads so just look it up in the search bar if interested. It is very different than any other 999 I have seen and the groove on the stem is still an absolute mystery. Also sorry for the random photos but its complicated - you see although I swore I will never part with this pipe, I actually passed it on to a very good friend of mine under one condition, that if he ever decided to sell or trade it, I will be allowed to match any trade or offer he got.
This being said, I don't miss it at all, because I managed to find another one and they are identical... hallmarks and all. It needs restoring though and I didnt want to undermine its beauty by posting photos of it in a non perfect condition.

Shamrock 999
Shamrocks are very ofter underestimated and ignored , even by Peterson's fans, but I will just let the gorgeous grain on this 999 speak for itself.
This is unfortunately the last 999 I own for now, but I am determined to have 1 of each unique line the shape was ever produced in. Hopefully when I inevitably hit a wall with the older or more rare ones, you guys will land a hand with some trade offers.
Alright I think I am done for tonight and tomorrow I will continue with a several meerschaum pipe, plus a couple of extra special pipes.
