On the item with the cross, "1914-1916". Cool if genuine.

The metal on the heel looks like the top of some of my salt cellars.

Looks like it was made well after 1914-16... At that time period if they were going to go to the trouble of making a casting for some sort of award they probably would have incorporated the date in the casting, and not hand stamped the dates. And the font of the stamping is incorrect for the time period, IMHO. Looks like the stamps came from Harbor Freight.
