Starting to Get Obsessed

I have a Castello stems that need some help

The stem isn’t perfectly flush to the shank. My OCD tells me to get this fixed. There’s a mm gap that I would like fixed.

Could someone recommend a repair person that you’ve used in the past?

Many thanks,
Adam

I’ve sent my pipes all over and have personally only been lucky with Walker pipe repair. He is pretty back logged. I won’t send my pipes anywhere else.

If the tenon is to long , and it is bottoming out in the mortise, try a sanding the tenon a little. You absolutely can’t hurt anything and it may solve the problem. Other issue I have come across when this happens is the tenon is tight. I slap on some chapstick and see if I can get it to seat properly.
