Hello all, been some time since I regularly participated on the forums. Life just gets in the way sometimes. New relationship, new responsibilities but all moving in the right direction so I'm happy. Well, I've been smoking a lot of cigars of late, discovered some new favourites so I stocked up the old humidor. But I've been enjoying my pipes as the colder weather hits and surprisingly, I've been smoking a lot of aromatics. Generally into English blends with a few VaPers thrown into the mix, yet these aromatics have been oddly satisfying of late. McClelland 3 Cherry, Captain Black Dark and Peterson Connoisseurs Choice have been really pleasant smokes.
Anyways hope to be back to more regular posting, and to all those enjoy the holiday season and Merry Christmas.
Brian

Welcome back Brian, hope the winter out east isn't to bad. I have been on a voyage of new Virginias lately but I still enjoy my aros as well. Yesterday I tried the CupoJoes #2 blend. Honey and Chocolate, quite tasty.

Hey Blue, today its hovering around zero and the sun is shining in Toronto, beautiful day for a smoke. Tonight will be another story apparently as the Nor'Easter is on it's way to us to drop 10-15 cm of snow and freezing rain. Thank goodness for sheds and heaters! Not griping because you western boys know what REAL weather is, we just get a smattering of what you deal with all winter.

Hey Brian, good to hear from you again! Being it's fairly nice down in the south with highs in the 50s and 60s but sometimes cooler than that, I've been enjoying smoking on the porch a lot. I too like some aro tobaccos in cooler weather, along with latakia blends. Been hitting up Esotericas Blackpool, and PS Cherry Bon Bon a fair amount, along with the Frog Mortons. Hope you don't get hammered too hard this winter!

Thanks Orley, last winter was a nightmare for us in Southern Ontario, way more snow than usually falls in 2 years! I'm prepared with a brand new snowblower this year so in all likelihood we will get no snow! To my fellow GTA pipers, you're welcome!

Welcome back! It is funny how tastes change. I used to be all aros till cigmaster introduced me to Virginias. Virginias led to Vapers and then Englishes though I mostly smoke Flakes a nice bowl of Nording Labrador or MacBarens Highland blend or Hobbits weed as well as my staple B&M Aro Kate's blend creep up on you and seem to be the only thing to satisfy the moment. One of the things I love about this hobby is the variety.

Welcome back, pal. I'm glad to hear you're smoking Aros. I have more Benadryl cased Semois than I can comfortably pack into my not so secret Santa's present. You can smoke it on those nights when you want to be alone and fall asleep early.
