No question on this one: The classic Savinelli 320 shape, also sometimes called the "Author". It is that one pipe that just feels RIGHT to me. Finish? Hard to say, I own three rusticated and hope to add a smooth to the collection sometime soon. Savinelli Trevi 320 Smooth
Good question. I'm with Guhrillastile - I do love the Bulldog / Rhodesian shape whether straight or bent, round or diamond shank. Add a nice smooth finish (with some nice grain if possible) and I'll be a happy smoker! ::
PS although the Author shape is nice too, if I was allowed a second choice.
Despite the challenges that a really full bent has, I do love the look of an oompaul, probably the most bent pipe without it being custom made
My dunhill Oompaul polished is beautiful, but getting a pipe cleaner through is frustrating
Probably something like a size 3 or 4 sandblasted nosewarmer; apple or billiard shaped. Easy to keep in your mouth without a free hand, just like my MM pony express. Second thought maybe a poker style; even more like my favorite MM!
