Identifying an Albany Pipe

Hi all,

I am new to this hobby and to the forum. I recently picked up an estate pipe for a few dollars at an antique store. I have been unable to find any history on the brand, and was hoping y'all might be able to help out. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated.

The pipe reads "Albany" in cursive font on one side, and "British Made 35" on the other side.

I should add that it has an integral (what appears to be aluminum) stinger and a vulcanite stem.

there are many pipe brands from the time of stingers. I think every dad had to have a pipe by law, even if they only smoked it on rare occasions.
