For some reason the multi-sided bowl reminds me of the old IBM Selectric typewriter that had an interchangeable typewriter ball for different type faces and many facets for lower case, caps, numbers, punctuation, etc. For about 25 years, that was the be-end-all of typing, just as desktop computers (word processes so-called) appeared. Now the Selectric is a relic. Typewriter collectors like the pre-electric manuals better. I really miss the bang-bang-bang-ding of the old portable manual I used. Percussion, a lovely sound.
