I've been working on a collection of XL 21 Peterson Bulldogs and in that process became aware that an Xl 21 was being made as part of the Kapries series (Brown Sandblast, Army mount). I tried several retailers and kept getting the same answer "No longer being made". The only shot I had was if I could find one in stock somewhere. The quest begins! It was a long shot at best. An out of production pipe in a particular style that never seem to be made in any significant numbers. Expectations were anything but high. After several week of relentless searching I finally found one in Italy and grabbed it up. The Pipe Gods have smiled on me.

Looks like your 7 day set is coming along well. Have you thought about finding a Peterson Antique series 1910? It would go great with your collection.

Every time I see a pipe of such exquisite beauty, I think, "Why didn't I purchase a pipe like that?"
