I can't not do it. I have a few spare dollars and I know I can get away with buying a pipe without Angela executing me.
I'll go $75 dollars, new or estate. Please link me to the most amazing pipe for that budget so I can purchase it! Since I seriously suffer from option paralysis, I could look for weeks and never pull the trigger. Tell me what to buy!

I can't help. If I even pull up a picture of a pipe for the next month my wife will do a Torquemada impersonation.

Ha. My wife sends me messages sporadically throughout the day: "Stop looking at pipe stuff."

I'm such a kid in a candy store, I wouldn't be any help at all. I guess I just want one of each.

Exactly why I started this thread. Money in hand.. ready to buy.. and I'd never be able to just choose one. I have the same problem just shopping for groceries. I stare at stuff just paralyzed by the options.

It's like the old west "fast draw" - got to be the fastest on the mouse sometimes. Hope that you get your desired pipe.

Or you can follow the captains lead and start smoking 904's. This one's a bit over at $88.

I've been thinking of buying a Sav 105 for quite some time. This petite beauty is also a bit over at $84.

Last time I got Safari to let me onto the smokingpipes.com site, they had some nice Genods for $40 and $45, so you might see if any of those are still there. I have a Genod bent egg I've had for a year or two, and it is highly smokeable. PC had a handsome Tsuge blast straight billiard for $39.99, but those went out of stock fast; for once in my life, I bagged a fast-moving item.

For that kind of dough you might want to search ebay for a deal on a great old truly American-made smoking device: the thick walled Custombilts. Wow, what fantastic smokers those old very thick walled pipes are! How about a nice billiard?

I do like Custombilts. I have one that really needs some TLC in the way of a restoration and possible new stem. I've just never got around to it.
