I have a jar of Orcilla mixture too. It's not a shag-cut. I actually got it specifically because I read it was a shag-cut... but it's not.
I've been searching high and low.
Recently, I emailed Rich's Cigar Store, because I also read that their "Old Fashioned 759" was a shag-cut. They got back to me, actually sent me pictures of their 759, and another blend called "Old Perth"... and they *are* true shag-cut blends. Also, they said their 759 "compares favorably" to Margate... one of my favs. Only problem, it's $15.65 for 2 oz... PLUS $12.25 for shipping. PLUS, I have to email him a picture of my driver's license for some reason.
I mean... if it's a shag-cut that's truly as good as Margate... I'd probably end up buying in bulk... but $12.25 to send 2 oz? It left a bad taste in my mouth, so I never dealt with them.
