I am in the throes of a major PAD attack. I picked up another Pre Trans Barling. This is my first blasted one and it is a deep ring grain one. The pipe is nice group 5 and should make for a good flake pipe.

I believe that's from Nathan at VikingClubPipes.com.

Harris, you don't have to reveal your secret fishing hole location if you don't want to, but you can tell us whether or not I'm wrong...

Either way Nathan has some goodies...

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
billkay,
It'll be interesting to see whether the well-seasoned old Britwood starts spoiling you for the newer

(= under 10 years) ones.
I had my stage of new and newer estate British pipes. Dunhill(new and used), Ferndown(new) Ashton(new) Lane Era Charatans)Gbd(estate),Sasieni(estate) Willmer(estate),Upshall(estate). Of all of those I have one each of Willmer, Upshall and Lane era Charatan left. So far I like how these Barlings smoke better than the others mentioned.
I had forgotten about vikingclubpipes. I used to look at them often, and Nathan did me right on this Barling, nice guy.
