I’m Afraid No Smoking Today

I'm good to go outside if I bundle up! My home is like a wind tunnel a lot. Those days are a no go and I have to post up in the back garage.

Red Deer, Alberta. It's half way between Calgary and Edmonton Alberta.
I'm warning anyone who is affected by this cold front to drive with extreme caution. If you have to be out on A highway, especially a rural highway, make sure you have ample cold weather gear to keep you safe in such extreme conditions. A lot of people tend to shrug their shoulders and say,"Nothing will happen', and drive with nothing more than a light jacket on.
Be smart, drive prepared and be safe.

Just heard we’re supposed to get some warmer weather tomorrow. It’s going to shoot up to +8F. That’s a relief.

That polar shift! Stay warm and be smart. I used to wear insulated leather boots and a marshmello suit to smoke outside in Colorado winters. Now in socal rarely even put on shoes!

That will put hair on your chest. I've done -10. It hurt, but I did it. At -43 I'm not sure the pipe would stay lit. lol

-22 F here in Montana with the wind chill. -4 ambient.

I think our high later this week is supposed to be -9 with ambient temperature of -22 overnight. Don’t even want to know the wind chill temps.

Safe to say i won’t be sitting on the patio with a pipe, lol.

Awesome, in all senses of the word. Don't know how anyone can deal with temperatures like that. I can't even do cold showers, which would have been useful too many times in my life. On the other hand, I can't take heat and humidity either. Guess I'm just a delicate flower. ????

I found out this year it doesn't matter how cold it gets as much as how wildly the temp fluctuates. When it's 20 something one day and negative something the next suddenly that's way too cold. Three days of negative temps and the gloves get to stay home .

A balmy -13 F up here. Still cold enough for me to refrain. Smoking just isn't as relaxing when your nostril hairs freeze on the retrohale, and you have to keep doing the pee pee dance just to keep your junk from freezing to your thighs.

I live a bit north of you (Beaumont), I was smoking outside outside yesterday no problem (pic for proof), today the temp isn't much colder, but there's a breeze that makes it much less tolerable.
