I did see the HU blends on SP yesterday (Monday) sometime around 10:15pm. I didn't bother to get a screen shot because they all showed an out-of-stock status and I just figured I'd missed the drop. I assume they were either testing the page or someone accidentally published the products before they were ready. Since they've gone to the trouble of setting up listings, I assume the blends will be available to order sometime soon.

I took a look at WCC. Nice selection, several of the classics and only one that was considered a dog. Interesting to see that the packaging had to be changed. The price is pretty good.
There are a couple that I would like to try, to see if K has unscrewed them. Makhuwa was a favorite but the tins I bought in 2018 were garbage and I trashed them.

Im intersted in seeing what folks think of HU Lat blends.

For those interested, Tuarkeh is a lot like Quiet Nights. I personally think QN edges it out by a hair.

Khartoum is nice with the addition of KY in the blend.

Overall I think US customers will find that they have access to equal or better latakia blends...though ZULU is pretty Unique.

They will probably be hard to get for a while but after the initial spalsh Im intersted in seeing what lasts. The US market is tough becuase of the huge amount of product avaliable. Just between C&D and GLP there is a huge number of blends. The choice is pretty crazy as compared to the EU.

In the EU Id say HU is about the best Ive found. There are some nice Dan tobaccos but most dont reach the level of HU blends.

Online there is a pretty steep price for Directors Cut. I guess folks are hiking up the big name in the lineup. I wonder if the US price will level out on that one. They are asking 31 for a 100 gram tin.

Smokingpipes will have them. I was on the site Monday night and they had a HU tab up and a bunch of them listed, all out of stock of course. I now notice the tab isn't there so I believe it was a test. Beans mentioned Oct 29th as a possible drop date which is what WCC has on their homepage scrolling banner. I can't wait to finally try some of these blends.

The packaging caught my eye as well. Hopefully they are sealed tins, which would be an improvement over the paint cans. I say already sitting on a lifetime supply of friggin paint cans :ROFLMAO:

I noticed Watch City Cigar had a banner up on their website for HU, and I'm curious myself. I don't know anything about HU Tobacco, but I'm going to follow this thread for any suggestions that come up. Looks like it'll be available Tuesday so it might be a good excuse to swing by next week. Prices seem decent considering they're 100g tins.
