How to Pack Ready Rubbed

Hello All -
I just picked up some Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed and while I absolutely love the flavor, I'm struggling to keep it lit/constantly getting uneven burns. When I smoke flake, I use fold and stuff. When I smoke ribbon cut, I use the three-layer method. This is sort of in between.
Any tips on packing? I'd really like to get this smoking just right.

Three step or gravity fill works fine with that one. May need to dry it out more and pack it lighter.

I've found the "Three Step Method" works well for me. Just don't pack it too tight or your relight problems will persist.

Try rubbing it out a bit more.

Pack it very lightly and very dry

Dry a few bowls out in a crockery bowl for a day or two, and pack a pipe for the next day.
