How tight is too tight?

Hi all,
I'm starting to cellar some of my tobacco and I need some advice. When packing the jars, how tight should I fill them. Should I let the tobacco sit somewhat loose, or is keeping everything somewhat squeezed in alright?

When I saw the title of this thread I was like,"Wow, should I even go there???" I will of course keep my opinion on the matter to myself so........oh.....jarring..... Pack it tight.
