In a factory, what is used to make the rustication? I don't think it is a person who just carves it out by hand. There has to be a power tool involved. Any one know ?

I watch that video frequently. It’s like meditation for me. I’ll never listen to Phil Collins the same again.

Thanks for posting that vid, Javan.
I wonder how many 3 fingered apprentices there are wondering around in Italy.
Muzak Collins...

I wonder if that is how Dr. Grabow, Savinelli , Chacom does it. Thanks for the video Javan. Castello rustication seems to look different than some of the less expensive pipes.

Caminetto uses a similar method, although the tool is larger and the steel spikes are larger.

Can you buy those rustication hand tools or are they made by that factory.
It seems to be impossible to find them online to buy.

At least we weren't Rickrolled!
The rustication tool could be replicated/crafted at home, methinks. Pointy screws on a metal plate shouldn't be too much trouble for a handyman. It wouldn't be the same, but that's an advantage: you'd have your very own rustication.
