You got that right, the “Lisbon Lions”. Not before my time, but before I was aware. My father-in-law spoke about them frequently. 1966-67 Glasgow Celtic, one of only two clubs to have won the trophy (the European Cup) with a team composed entirely of players from the club's home country; all of the players in the side were born within 30 miles of Celtic Park in Glasgow. (so says Wikipedia, copied and pasted). That is remarkable and worth repeating and reposting.
Jocks Dunfermline scalped some heavyweights in Europe. I think rangers 72 Cup winners cup team was all Scottish. Not in know on Fergie's Aberdeen and the Dundee team that was robbed of a European cup final in 84 and losing Uefa cup finalists in 87.

Scottish football was up there with best till new millennium though yer still have some instances were SPL teams get to great heights like rangers recent UEFA cup run. Weird how yer have not produced any top players in twenty plus years
