Help With SMS Meerschaums

I'm headed to Rome tomorrow and I'm really interested in a pipe shop called Novelli. They seem, in my opinion, to have some pretty decent prices on meerschaums, but to be honest I have absolutely NO idea what to look for having never smoked one. Here's the link--might any of you experienced meerschaum guys have any suggestions? I'd like to keep the price under EUR 150 as there are a few Savinellis that look good as well--more on that in another post--are there any meerschaums you see there worth purchasing?

Thanks, Jerry. It looks like a pretty nice pipe shop based on the photos. I'll definitely be giving those meerschaums a look. Prices don't appear to be too bad either.

Just remember if you do get a meerschaum to remove, and insert the stem turning clockwise as to not remove the threaded shank insert.
