Help with a Dunhill

Hi everyone. I have a dunhill that doesn’t have a number after the D in England or a patient number. Is there anyway I can figure out a date from what this? Is there a reason there’s no number after the D?

I would “assume” that no patent stamp and the group size and finish code stamp means the pipe is from 1955-1975

Any chance the A looks bigger than the Circled 4? It sort of does to me. If it’s bigger, than that would put it 59 to 64. So a bit better of an idea

That’s interesting. I had never heard that tidbit before, though to be fair, I’m not that familiar with Dunhills anyway. Here’s a bruyere from roughly the same period. Feel free to use it as comparison against the size of the finish code on yours.

I’m assuming this one is from the early 70s. I can’t make out the date stamp, but I feel I see a horizontal line.
