Hi everyone. I have a dunhill that doesn’t have a number after the D in England or a patient number. Is there anyway I can figure out a date from what this? Is there a reason there’s no number after the D?
That’s interesting. I had never heard that tidbit before, though to be fair, I’m not that familiar with Dunhills anyway. Here’s a bruyere from roughly the same period. Feel free to use it as comparison against the size of the finish code on yours.Any chance the A looks bigger than the Circled 4? It sort of does to me. If it’s bigger, than that would put it 59 to 64. So a bit better of an idea

I’m assuming this one is from the early 70s. I can’t make out the date stamp, but I feel I see a horizontal line.
