Help Date a Charatan & Barling

Can anyone guess at the dates or era of these pipes based on the nomenclature? Neither stem has a logo. Thanks!

From what I'm seeing I'd say broadly, post-war period. The Barling's ~ 1950-'62.

I’m thinking the Charatan may be from the second Lane era. It’s hard to pick up in the picture but there is a faint circle to the left of the Charatan stamp. I’m assuming that there was once a script L inside.

I can just make out a florid "L" inside the circle on the left, so definitely a Lane era Charatan.
If only Ken Barnes will chime in - he hasn't posted for some months.

@ChuckMijo there is no marking left on the stem. However, I know button shape can help pinpoint the era.

That version of the Barling logo, most likely 1947 thru 1955. Could be later. I don't currently have access to my Barling model number charts, so I can't say whether it's a US or British market. The model number being two digits has no bearing on that.
