Greetings all from Tidewater, VA! I have been lurking for some time and thought I should register and participate. I've been a cigar smoker for the past 20 years or so. Tried to smoke a pipe off and on since 1996 and it never really took. On a lark I tried some MM965 this time rather than another aromatic and OMG I was shocked.

Next thing I know and I am a full on English/Balkan junky complete with TAD and PAD. Interestingly now I find that I am smoking a better tobacco at an equally relaxed pace for a fraction of the cigar cost. I am happy to be here to soak up your collective knowledge and I will contribute where and when I can offer value.

Hey from central North Carolina. Yes, indeed, as I like to say, for the cost of one premium cigar, you can purchase a tin of premium pipe tobacco that will give you twenty or more smokes in a medium size pipe. Also, I enjoy the extra control of being able to add a condiment to a blend, modify the cut somewhat, or otherwise participate in the preparation. A cigar is a restaurant meal prepared to the chef's specifications. A pipe is home cooking. Welcome aboard.
