The Wise County area to be exact, about 40 minutes from TN and 30 from KY. I only know 1 other pipe smoker in my area.
I've been smoking a pipe for 11 years now. I began with a corn cob and some curiosity. I think the first tobacco I tried was Paladin black cherry tobacco, but I didn't know what I was doing or what I liked so it's not memorable. However, I'm no quitter so I kept at it. I bought a couple of basket pipes along the way but they were never for me. At some point I discovered Savinelli and became a fan. I'm up to 6 Savs now (In total more than that). I have my dad's old Dr. Grabow brylon pipe but never smoke it. I don't know if I can pick a favorite, but I tend to gravitate towards either the unfinished Savinelli or the 2022 St Nicholas pipe.
Favorite tobacco? Presbyterian Mixture. I'm aslo pretty fond of Cornell & Diehl's Easy Times.
