Hello everyone, I made an account a long time ago but then got distracted, so I'll make my introduction now. I've smoked a pipe off and on for a couple years now, and finally decided to make it my main form of indulging my nicotine habit. I had an uncle who always smoked Half and Half, and I love smoking it too. My preferences for pipe tobacco vary widely. I'll just as soon be in the mood to smoke an old OTC blend as I would pack a bowl of something more "refined". VaPers, Orientals, Aromatics, and everything in between I enjoy at different times. I'm in my late twenties, and seem to be part of the growing number of younger men, at least that I know of in my circle of friends, who have somewhat recently started to enjoy pipe smoking. I have three pipes currently in rotation, as an attempt to keep certain blends in a designated pipe, but none of them would probably be very impressive to you seasoned veterans here: a Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman, a Dr. Grabow Riviera (in honor of my late uncle), and last Christmas my lovely wife got me a Peterson Rusticated Derry (bent), which I love. Looking forward to getting to know you all and learning a lot!

Hey from central North Carolina. I grew up in suburban Chicago and my family vacationed for a number of years at College Camp on Lake Geneva in Southern Wisconsin. I have many good memories of that clear water with tiny round pebbles underfoot, and the walk up the steep bluff to Yerkes Observatory, and a friendly dog named Trixie, and so on. Welcome aboard.

Lake Geneva is a beautiful area, it seems a lot of folks from Illinois come up to vacation or have a second house there, spawning some great Chicago style food places to cater to the demographic, I can get some authentic Italian cold cuts from a nearby place.

Thank you, hope I’ll get a chance to see the Big Apple for real some day. Was in the city only for a couple hours once as a teenager, our car almost overheated on the George Washington bridge, fun times.
You're very welcome. I would be happy for you to visit; we have a shortage of normal people here lately. I had some fun times in Wisconsin a while back. Hope to see you here soon!
