Hello ? From South Australia

G'day and hello from Australia.

It's a real pleasure to be a member of this forum.

Look forward to connecting with many of you and learning from your posts.

For me i joined to meet some other Australia Pipe smokers hopefully. I live in South Australia and you can't buy pipe tobacco here, every shop that sold it has now since closed. The 19 wiped all old school pipe shops out where i live.

Last one SmokeLovers on rundle street closed it doors last year & revamped into some funky hippster bar.

Anyway i digress. I've been a pipe smoker off and on for the last few years. I always come back to pipe smoking even though the tins are 129$ and it's practically impossible to find the tobacco to put in my pipe lol i still keep coming back.

anyway Gentleman it's a delight to be here.

There are quite a few of us on the Forums. Some a bit more vocal than others.

I had a wonderful visit to Adelaide in 2019 but was disappointed that there wasn’t a tobacconist to be found.

By the same token, you’d be equally disappointed if you visit Sydney. There are a couple of cigar shops, but none really catering to pipe smokers ?

Yeah its a real shame, we had one great one, it was amazing had every blend and pipe you could ever want. but i guess not enough traffic killed it for them.

seems to be the way, it's the taxes, i have same issue getting Swedish snus and snuff aswell.

It's great to make your maintenance though mate, have a great day.
