Hey everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm a new pipemaker and lover of good tobacco from West Los Angeles, California. I bought my first pipe in 2004 when I was a teenager and drifted in and out of the hobby until 2021 when I came back to it pretty hard. I had worked for eight years as a machinist and a durometer technician and was fortunate to be in a position where I could focus on making pipes full time.
I'm currently mostly smoking Va/Pers but I also love Oriental leaves and sometimes a good Burley blend. I don't have many personal pipes but my favorite smokers are all Altinay meerschaums.
I'm active in the Instagram pipe community but only recently found these forums, which are amazing sources of information. I'm looking forward to engaging with the community here and hope everyone has a great day.
