Hi all, I'm Jim from Florida, I grew up with a dad that smoked a pipe all day, and picked up the habit in my mid thirties (cigars when I discovered good ones). As I have retired and slowed down, I have found time to enjoy a pipe more. I typically enjoy English blends, but have lately been moving towards Vapers and straight Virginias... I tend to freight train a lot, and its tough for me to slow down and sip a VA, but man do they taste great when I do.

I find it helps to not think of it as slowing down as much as going gently. Focus less on frequency and more on hardly drawing. Try breath smoking just to get an idea of how little force a draw needs.
