New here but have smoked pipes since the 90's off and on. Just returning after a bit of time away from the pipe. Looking forward to participating in the discussions. One of the advantages of a hiatus is that I have a well stock cache of well aged tobaccos. Of course the downside is that I see that a lot of folks that I connected with on other forums are no longer with us. Indeed the number of artisan USA pipemakers seems to have decreased and some of the tobaccos I have enjoyed are no longer produced. Well change is inevitable. Looking forward to getting back up to snuff with what is going on in the pipe world.

Our oldest son lives in Johnson City, so we are up that way at least once a year. He's a pipe smoker also.

My daughter lives in Jonesborough, TN which is right next door to Johnson City. I am going up that way next to fly fish the South Holston River in Bristol.
