Hey all. Some of you may remember, starting last fall, I began having major issues with my voice. I sing and speak for a living. Its interrupted almost everything about my life to some degree.
I took a voluntary hiatus through the winter from pipe smoking, and with it, a bit of a break from this forum. In the last month or so I've begun smoking a little again and visiting the forum.
Unfortunately my voice trouble has continued. I'm actually getting ready to hit the road for a 4 hour drive to see a specialist at a vocal clinic at the University of Minnesota. I'd take all the prayers and thoughts you have, this is sure impacting our life.
Thanks,

tarak (Chris)

My thoughts and prayers are with you. It is indeed a great concern when there are physical barriers preventing a person

from earning a living. Few things can be as frustrating. I hope for the best.

tarak, what a life challenge. I hope this difficulty produces good things for you, as can sometimes happen.

I realize, it ain't easy.

You are in my prayers Chris. I hope the specialist gets to the root of the problem. Otherwise ... maybe you can give the ol' Tom Waits style a go! 8O
