Hi everyone,

This is my first post here on this forum!

I don't know if this is general knowledge and I have missed something (wouldn't be the first time), but has Coopersark (Rob) completley stopped selling pipes on ebay? I haven't seen him posting new pipes in some time now. I sent him an email to ask him but no answer, I also sent him a little reminder after a while when I didn't get any answer but with the same results.

Do any of you guys have any information? I just hope he is doing OK.

Thank you!

Cheers
Nicke

Wow I hadn’t heard. I spoke with him on the phone once a few years ago. Very neat guy. Wishing him a speedy and complete recovery!

Yes, Rob suffered a major health setback several months ago and the recovery period, unfortunately, will be long term. His wife, Brenda, has been doing a superior job of keeping a phone text group informed. She did say that Rob really enjoys getting letters and emails that she reads to him. It really lifts his spirits. So if any of you are so inclined to send your well wishes via an email, you can send your email to his address and Brenda reads those to him. Please send emails of support to Rob at coopersark@comcast.net.

I am sure his family would appreciate you keeping him in his thoughts and prayers.

Thanks!

Rob was on my mind this morning and I am wondering how he’s doing? If anyone has an update on his condition, please let me know. Thank you.

Has there been any update on Rob’s condition? He came to mind this morning and I realized that not much has been said. Thanks.

Rob seems to be progressing, although slowly. I was able to talk to him on the phone a couple of times over the last couple of months. He is still having difficulty adjusting to the lingering effects of having gone through a major stroke, but Rob said that according to his doctors and rehab specialists, his progress is going well and that only time will help identify the final prognosis. I do know that Rob, his wife Brenda, and his family do appreciate all the thoughts and prayers being sent his way.

In honor of Rob, I'll mention, Duke University Medical Center keeps running ads on our local PBS station reminding people that stroke needs attention even in this pandemic, and they have a web site that describes the symptoms. Basically, they say don't avoid treatment to avoid going to the hospital. A lot can be done if the patient is treated soon.

Hi, Nicke, glad to have you aboard with us! Sorry to hear about Rob, but glad he's working his way back. Tnx large for the details, guys! Stroke ain't no fun. I had a mini one last July, fortunately with few lasting effects. Best wishes for him for sure.
