Are you kidding, that man was the best thing about Toronto. Did you know his brother Doug is now the Premier of Ontario?
Can I just say (burp) that the tourtière was delicious, pastry was flaky perfection and the maple cream an excellent pairing. Salad was also very good, waldorf with a few personal touches. Hot apple cider was very good, but maybe one too many cinnamon sticks in the pot. Cherry pie is cooking now. The fun thing about celebrating Canada day in New Zealand is that it is the middle of winter so we can get all nostalgic with the comfort food...Metis fiddling for the evening soundtrack.
Oh, and I smoked a bowl of grousemoor in the ol' Brigham.

It is hit or miss I think Jay. Folks who like it like it a lot. People that dislike it tend to live out west.
Without going to far into politics, I'm glad we made it at least a page before Premier Ford was brought up.

Poutine has to be fresh, before the fries get soggy. There are many variations of poutine besides the classic potatoe/gravy/curd. Here's a pic of a chicken poutine I had that was pretty good from a donair/poutine/shisha restaurant in Edmonton.

I cant help it.. just like you guys think we dont wear shoes in the south, I always think of the Trailer Park Boys when I think of Canada.
Haha, Ricky maybe, I'm not sure Julian would be too high on the idea. As long as caveman Sam isn't in power they'll both be happy.
