I've been pretty busy the last few weekends and weeknights trying to make some things to sell at the TAPS Expo, but I've also been working steadily on a crochet hook cabinet that can display 10 hooks in the top, with two drawers below also holding 10 hooks each for a grand total of 30 hooks.
Honestly, this was a huge pain in the ass for me, but was requested so I had to follow through.
Here it is, made from Bolivian Rosewood:

You have made some woman very happy.
Of course, I don't want my wife to see this thread.

Now replace those hooks with pipes. :puffy:
Ya know? I've really thought about it
Beautiful!! My wife's hooks look nothing like those. Did you make the handles for the hooks as well? Seems like a great idea.
I did not make the hooks, but I do want to buy me a lathe someday and try my hand at some. These hooks, I believe all came from a site called Furlscrochet. They make some pretty nice hooks. She loves them! She has some out of wood, some acrylic, some limited editions, they even make yarn. It's quite the place, but fair warning, if she goes here, she might get hooked...
Thanks all! It was a chore to work on, but worth it when I saw her reaction!
