Got My First Sasieni!

This little number arrived in the mail today. It's a two dot from Fishnbanjo's collection. Anyone know the exact dates that the two dots were produced?

I have no knowledge about grading sasieni pipes but I do know they are well regarded. Congrats on the new pipe. It looks great.

I can't speak as to years of production, but I can say that I like what you've got there.

'46 to '79, but little is written about Two Dots. I assume they follow the same era's as Four Dots.

From what I have read and seen, two dots were made in the 60’s and 70’s. The grade seemed to be between a second line and first. Almost, very nearly a four dot but not quite.

Congratulations!!! I am sure you would enjoy it! As @ssjones said, they were produced up to 1979. Not much information is available on them, but they are fantastic pipes. as good as a Four Dot with a minor cosmetic blemish. It should smoke wonderfully for you!

Good one! I checked his pipes on ebay last night, I look every couple of weeks to see if something really stands out for me. It makes me happy seeing his collection find its way out to the forum members!

Thanks! That means this pipe is most definitely older than I am, as I was born in '80. That seems to line up with my online research, but you're correct, nobody has much to say about the two dots, other than that they're generally nicer than most of Sasieni's off-brands, but not quite on a four dot level. Can't find many out there either.
