Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. I have good memories of Kentucky. My older sister lived there with her husband who taught at the University in Lexington, and a college friend spent a career there on the newspaper as a copy editor, but has since moved back near family in St. Louis. One time I camped on the Kentucky river and woke to a dense fog, so I could hear the traffic across the river but couldn't see that far. I really enjoy Mammoth Cave and have visited there three times over the years, and finally took in the underground river tour. That's an easy way to see a major limestone cave system; I highly recommend. There's one narrow passage they call "fat man's hell." I'm skinny, so it was okay. I guess it's not for the claustrophobic.

Welcome from Maryland! I recommend pairing bourbon with an attractive female. What's your favorite bourbon?
I've got the attractive female covered with my wife so I'm good there. As far as a favorite bourbon...man that's a tough question for someone from KY. Everyday drinkers, Bullitt, and Eagle Rare. Buffalo Trace is a good mixer. Top Shelf E.H. Taylor SB, Blantons SB, and anyone someone is offering up to try.

Well, I've visited the Concord area of NC several times to see a college friend and his family. Never spent much time other than that. I used to spend summers as a kid on a lake near Mammoth Cave and visited it myself and have been through "Fat Man's Hell" and you are absolutely correct it is not for the claustrophobic. The Echo River tours is a hidden gem of the cave system, to say the least. Glad you have fond memories of KY

++ Buffalo Trace And Eagle Rare
Have you tried Basil Hayden’s, very good!
I enjoy Knob Creek 100 proof, for the price you can’t beat or.
How do you feel about rye whiskey?
One of my favorites is Catoctin Creek. Catoctin Creek® - The Products - https://catoctincreekdistilling.com/products

If you want to buy some exceptionally high-quality barrel strength spirits go check out Single Cask Nation. They buy barrels from many distilleries around the world and bottled them at cask strength.

Welcome from a bit south of you in Kentucky. If you make it down to Lexington shoot me a message and we could meet up at Schwab's or Jake's.
