Glue Recommendation

I fixed mine with Titebond.

Elmer’s. I have used glue sticks and they work just fine.

I use normal wood glue, it's PVA like Elmer's, but easier to work with because it's thicker. I have used my kid's school glue before, it works just fine.

Will try the Elmers Glue trick. Have a few broken pipes (has been a problem lately breaking the stem) and have tried Super Glue several times but they eventually fall apart and the glue stays tacky and doesn't stick to plastic very well. Epoxy resin worked better but even that did not work in the long run.

Elmer’s wood glue, it’s non toxic I think. That’s what I use on all my MMs

Titebond Ultimate Wood Glue.

No, not broken. There was a bit of wiggle and this prevented from getting a good draw. Also, smoke would escape at the point where the shank inserts into the bowl.

I used the Elmers suggestion and so far it has worked.

Elmer's will work just fine. I bore out the shank, bottom and put a hardwood plug in all of my cobs, if they don't come with a hardwood bottom. All I have used is Elmer's, seems sturdy enough to me, nothing has fallen out yet.

Most any glue would work, but I prefer Gorilla glue. You’ll never have to worry about it coming loose again.

I said it was for two MM freehands in the original post but I suppose I could be been more clear and wrote out Missouri Meerschaum.

I'd still go for the JB weld, it is strong and fills too.
I once repaired a hole in a meer with a mixture from egg white and pure chalk, plaster will do too.
Very strong and near to invisible. Good filler too.

Elmer’s never worked for me but this sure did.

I keep Titebond always laying around. Worked great on my loose stem. But like all say any glue can work, even Elmer’s ?
