It was actually a pretty decent day until my drive home from work when this happened:

Nothing like changing a blowout on the side of the freeway. The only thing that could top it would be this:

Not to worry though, I'm self medicating with a glass of this:

Here
The important question is what pipe and blend go with that. [:puffpipe:]
:nana:
It's always nice to get a handful of annoying things out of the way at once, so one may then resume the enjoyment of life.
Glad it wasn't worse!

Actually there *is* something that could be worse. Finding out only then that to save expense, instead of a spare, the manufacturer supplied a compressor & a can of fix-a-flat. Seriously, about 1/3 of manufacturers are doing that now. Punctures, yeah, works. Sidewall rupture? Not nearly so much. }:(

That's a bad day. Only thing worse than that would have been coming home to an empty bottle and no tobacco on hand to smoke. Sounds like a good day for some Black Frigate. It'll cure what ails ya! Just sprinkle a little in on your finger, voila! Insta-cure! Although, you might fare better by smoking it and forget the finger altogether. Here's to hoping today's better than yesterday!

Fortunately I have a full size spare. Unfortunately my tires run $235/tire without installation.
I do keep one of these and a can of fix-a-flat in each of my vehicles:

Ah! That is rough, but it looks like you have things somewhat in hand. Take good care of that finger; boy that hurt.

Just spray some WD-40 on the finger (keep it from locking up) and wrap it with some duck tape. It's called redneck forest aid, me and my dad use it all the time.

I haven't graduated to the compressor yet, but cables, fix-a-flat, first aid kit, LED lights, yeah. Never drive without them. Scout's motto, & all that.
$235 per each, jeez, what do you drive, a Vette? I remember when they went to the unique setup tires; left front to right rear? No way in perdition, bucko. Left front is left-by-God-FRONT, & donnnn' you fergit it!

I wish! Actually I drive a Jeep but the tires are large and have an agressive mud tread pattern and Kevlar in the side walls.
Got lucky and found an ad online for some factory Rubicon BF Goodrich km mud terrains from a guy who upsized his wheels. He was originally asking$500 for the set of 4 but siad if I picked them up today I could have them for $300 so:
