My favourite colour is green, I've never tried My Mixture 79, I like long walks on the beach, holding hands and deep meaningful conversatio...... oh darn sorry, that's meant for another website for singles! My actual introduction is that I've been smoking a pipe almost a year now since retiring. Wilke's Crystal Palace is my latest "go to" mixture but medium English blends are what I've gravitated toward. I find they are a perfect match for my single malt Scotches. I have a small but quality collection of Dunhill, Vesterholm, Brooks, BBB, Peterson, Ser Jacopo and a Meerschaum gourd Calabash.

I expected retirement to be long afternoons and deciding whether to read a book or take a walk. Then the pace of life picked up and now I have to make an appointment with myself to try for a walk or catch the chapter of a book. Welcome aboard! You sound right in step with this group.
