Ok, so the only GLP blend I ever tried was Gaslight, and I hated it.
But, comments about Quiet Nights prompted me to order a tin, and since I primarily like straight VAs, I also ordered a tin of Union Square.
I was pleasantly surprised, it's an excellent VA blend. I still like my Wessex Red/Gold but this one is right up there with them and definitely better than Dunhill flake.
I'll have to give Quiet Nights a try in the next week or so and report back on that as well.
So, what are your favorite GLP blends?

These days I'm not smoking much English or Balkan, so my faves are Haddo's Delight, Union Square, Telegraph Hill, Sixpence, and Fillmore. But I was recently gifted with a jar of Bohemian Scandal, and that's really good, just long out of production.

I know I made some comments about QN. I hope that you like it.

Like Sable, I havnt been smoking too many Lat based blends.

The GLP blends Im currently smoking are Fillmore, Haddo's Delight, Stonehenge, and Temple Bar.

Though not too much Temple Bar lately because it went moldy in the jar a while back, and Ive been afraid to order more. Though the several smokes I did have were great.

I need to get some Telegraph Hill and some Key Largo, those have been beckoning.

The Temple Bar went moldy after you transferred from the tin to a jar? I have some cellared, but haven’t tried it yet, and am looking forward to it. I haven’t heard of it going moldy before though.

I may have to try Fillmore also. I'm not big on VaPers but it might be worth a shot.
I really hope I like Quiet Nights. I need a replacement for 965 and/or Night Cap.

Yea it went moldy after it had been in the jar for a while. It was fine when I first opened it.

One day went looking for something I hadn't had in a while and noticed that the jar had totally fuzzed out. To date its been the only blend to mold on me. Total user error Im sure.

It was a little sad though, cause I thought it was a great blend. Ill get some more one day when Ive sampled more blends from his catalog.

I'm a fan of Haddos and Union Square, but Fillmore took me by surprise, but not in a good way. It tasted very smokey, nothing like what I expected from Virginia perique. Does any one else get the smokiness? Did I smoke it too fresh?
And I thought Reagent Flake and Stonehenge had a unique taste, but wasn't blown away from either of them. I like Oriental/VA/perique but still looking for the one that makes me crave more. I ordered some Cairo, which I have yet to try, but reading reviews I'm thinking I'll like it.

Never was a huge Gl Pease smoker but I totally respect him for bringing Plugs to the American market. I love Temple Bar, and smoke Haddo’s and Sixpense occasionally. Still have yet to try JKP and Triple Play but I have some tins aging in my “queue drawer”. I was very disappointed with his collaboration with Gawith, Stonehenge does nothing for me, it’s very bland to my palate.

Yep. A very small amount of Latakia. Most English smokers don't pick up that taste.

I also did not enjoy the recent tin of Gaslight I purchased. Got about halfway through it and tossed it out.
Quiet Nights is one of the only Pease blends that I enjoy anymore, so I guess you could call it my favorite. I think it smokes best when crumbled and dried, then somewhat loosely packed.
The majority of my experience is with the English/Balkan blends, mainly Westminster and Abingdon, but I’ve tried several others on more than one occasion. These used to be more distinguished to me, but now seem fairly mediocre with little difference to be found between them. Perhaps the leaf sourced is not the same as in years past, plus the cut is now nearly identical to the current Dunhil fine ribbon and I find this affects these blends’ performance in a negative way. Westminster and Abingdon used to be favorites but I find them bland and boring now. Speaking of Dunhill, I just revisited Nightcap, and finally got around to trying Apertif and London Mixture. They could have come out of a Pease or C&D tin as far as I’m concerned. The cut is the same, as are the flavor profiles. So if you happen to like the current Nightcap, you very well might enjoy Westminster or Abingdon, or any of the other ribbon cut Pease and C&D English and Balkan blends.

One you might like that is not often mentioned is Cumberland. To date I've been through two tins of it and really enjoyed it...it's been a while though...need to pop open another one soon.

I hated Gaslight when I first tried it when I went back to it 6 months or so later I loved it. Not sure if it was a bit of age on it or my palette changing but it wouldn't hurt to revisit it.

Well, I'm out here in the tobacco wilderness, but did manage to get hold of some Fillmore and Chelsea Morning. I'm enjoying both immensely. I have previously tried Hoddo's, but was not so impressed. Nice nic hit though.
I also have a tin of Embarcadero which I've yet to open and some Gaslight on the way.

I was a big fan of the Fog City Selections. I cut my teeth on them while first exploring Virginias. He was playing with an excellent batch of Virginias, by adding different levels of condimentals, but allowing the Virginias to shine through. But, recently, I haven’t been as enthralled with newer batches, which made me wonder if he just wasn’t getting the same Virginias, since they are unadulterated with casings. Maybe they just need to age.
Some of the newer releases of others that I once liked also seemed kind of... dirty tasting, like Gaslight. This reminded me more of the dirtiness that some C&D blends have been tasting to me. But, that is just my conjecture.
Haddos, Key Largo, Virginia Cream, and Stonehenge currently rock my world, and never let me down. But, I will still continue to explore stuff from his portfolio from time to time. Maybe I have just gotten examples from bad batches. I imagine it’s tough keeping up consistency when you are dealing with a natural raw material like tobaccos that can differ from crop to crop, year to year.
