Dunhill Christmas 1983 Limited Edition UNSMOKED

Realized I am never going to smoke this beauty, but I am possibly open to trades for a different Dunhill Christmas pipe. Not much needs to be said about this piece, other than the fact that it is an awesome example for anyone looking to add to their Christmas collection or someone that needs a truly special birth year pipe. Completely unsmoked with the original metal inner tube.

Jack Howell Rhodesian

This one is from his 2013 Passion For Pipes collection, and is inspired by the classic Comoy’s Rhodesian shape. If you know Jack Howell, you know he makes incredible smoking pipes. This one has an awesome, sharp blast.

Bill Taylor Ashton made for Paul Olsen SHANK REPAIR

This Bill Taylor Ashton was unsmoked when I bought it, and has the most incredible ring grain blast I have ever seen on an Ashton, and one of the best I have ever seen on any pipe. The only downside is this pipe has a crack in the shank, which was expertly repaired by Jesse Jones at Blue Room Briars. This does NOT affect the smoking experience in any way, and you wouldn’t even notice it unless you look closely. The ebonite stem has become a little bit dull, but that seems to be the norm on all Bill Taylor Ashtons.

Fantastic smoking pipe. The Centurion models were claimed to have been made from century old Algerian briar.

Official Lord of the Rings Gandalf Pipe, by Acacia Giuseppe

I bought this as a display piece to go along with my Vauen Gandalf pipe, and I have never smoked it. This is a 1:1 replica of my Vauen Gandalf, which leads me to believe that New Line Cinema had a prototype for companies to follow that were making official replicas. This pipe does not seem to be made by Vauen and rebranded, though. The Gandalf marking is double stamped (as if someone didn’t do the stamping correctly and tried to stamp over it again). Lord of the Rings stamp is perfect.

Chamber is clean. It has been smoked at some point in the past, so probably needs to be cleaned. When I took a draw the stem seemed to be restrictive, which makes me think the airway needs to be cleaned out. Top of the bowl has damage from over-cleaning.

This pipe makes a great display piece along with the Lord of the Rings box, and the box is in good condition.
